Access Control Devices

eTopme Access control devices are used to prevent outsiders from entering secure areas within your company. As an illustration, only employees are permitted access to the organization. Turnstiles or door locks are connected to access control devices to regulate access.

Biometric Devices

For employee time management biometric authentication devices recognize their distinctive bodily traits. Face recognition devices and fingerprint scanners are two common biometric tools for tracking employee attendance. The biometric gadget compares the information it receives when an employee authenticates himself with his face or fingerprint with the previously stored templates in its database. If the device successfully matches, it alerts the employee and logs the event’s time. When a biometric device is linked to an access control system, it unlocks the door lock so the employee can pass.

Face Recognition Devices/ Face Scanners

Employees are recognized by their facial characteristics using face recognition technology. When a worker approaches a face recognition device, the device takes a picture of the worker and compares it to the face patterns that have already been registered and saved in its database. If the device successfully matches, it alerts the employee and logs the event’s time.

RFID Devices

The two components of the wireless system known as Radio Frequency Identification are tags and readers (RFID). A reader is an electronic gadget with one or more antennas that transmit radio waves and take in signals from RFID tags. Radio waves are used by tags to transmit their identity and other data to adjacent readers.

Time Attendance System

The beginning and ending times of employee labor, breaks, overtime, and other events are recorded using time attendance devices. Time access control devices are categorized as Face Recognition Devices, Biometric Devices, RFID Devices, and so on depending on the identification mechanism they utilize. Make sure the time attendance machines have an access control mechanism built into them or check for access control devices if you want to connect them to a door lock.
