FBI IAFIS Appendix F Certification
The certification provides assurance to users that RealScan-FC meets or exceeds FBI interoperability standards and will work with the Integrated Automated Fingerprint Information System (IAFIS). It ensures that the images used are high quality and supports all phases of identification for fingerprint experts and the IAFIS. Appendix F has stringent image quality conditions, focusing on the human fingerprint comparison and facilitating large scale machine one-to-many matching operation.

Description
Compact and Lightweight Design with 5.16” Extra Wide Platen
With its sleek and ergonomic design, RealScan-FC allows the capture of high-quality palm print,rolled and flat fingerprint images that meets FBI Image Quality Specification(IQS) Appendix F standard. Available in portable, desktop and cabinet configurations, RealScan-FC can be easily integrated into diverse applications such as border control, prisoner documentation, and employment background checks.
Advanced Rolled Image Construction Technology
RealScan-FC features Advanced Rolled Image Construction technology using Suprema ID’s unique slip detection algorithm for constructing rolled fingerprint images. With ARIC technology, RealScan-FC performs over 15 fps frame rate in roll capturing which ensures highest image quality and low error rate.
Powerful Internal DSP
RealScan-FC is equipped with a powerful 400MHz CPU which enables high-speed image processing in capturing, storing, processing, and transferring fingerprint data. With the CPU, Suprema ID’s unique image Pre-Processing technique results more frames rates in capturing and richer pixel throughput hence producing better image quality. It also minimizes the device’s initialization time to less than one second.
Rugged IP64-rated Dust & Waterproof StructureTechnology
RealScan-FC is comprehensively sealed against invasive moisture, dust and liquid. Featuring superb IP64 rated protection through meticulous sealing, combined with extra protective engineering, ensures faultless operation even under harsh conditions.
