The Matica LX PRINTER is a new launch from Matica a compact yet powerful fiber laser ID card printer designed for secure ID card personalization and issuance. It offers high-security engraving for polycarbonate cards in government, corporate, and distributed issuance applications by combining industrial-grade laser capability with a tiny desktop size.

The Matica LX PRINTER is a desktop-friendly device that can print high-quality industrial laser engravings. It’s perfect for issuing secure IDs in a decentralized way. It uses the tried-and-true GEN3 LX fiber laser source from bigger Matica systems to get very precise results on polycarbonate and composite cards. This makes it excellent for government-issued IDs, driver’s licenses, and national ID cards.

When used with XID-series retransfer printers, its modular design supports Matica Secure Protected Image (MSPI®). This adds an extra layer of protection by laser-engraving extracted image data in perfect register. The LX PRINTER also works well with MC-L2 laminators and retransfer printing options, which makes cards last longer and makes it harder for people to make fake cards in end-to-end issuance operations.

You may load and issue two different types of cards on demand with dual input hoppers. The built-in Windows 11 IoT PC lets you control the system without needing a separate workstation, which is great for service desks, licensing centers, and government sites that are spread out.

Small size, flexible design
